Angwin Eco-Village

In an effort to preserve Pacific Union College’s property rights, NVLSA argued successfully against General Plan changes that would have pre-empted PUC’s proposed development without public hearings on the merits of the project.

Subsequently, however, the Board of Supervisors amended the General Plan to re-designate some other nearby portions of PUC’s property as “Agricultural land”, which precludes development of those portions of the property.

Since then, economic factors and changes in leadership at the college have put the entire Eco-Village project in doubt.
